We love making and eating lasagna! It is not that difficult to make, there’s an almost infinite amount of possibilities and it usually tastes great! However, you might want to get an early start as it has to bake in the oven for quite some time. If you start early and give it enough time you will get the tastiest lasagna and you won’t even have to do a lot of work for it.
⏲25 minutes making time
⏳2 hours in the oven for the mix
⏲5 minutes building the lasagna
⏳40 minutes in the oven
🍽 4-6 portions

Ingredients
500 grams of beef
250 grams of carrot
1 onion
1 single clove of garlic
1 leek
400 grams of peeled tomatoes in the can
140 grams tomato puree
70 grams of red pesto
100 grams of sun-dried tomatoes
1 cube of stock (we used chicken but you can also pick a vegetable stock of course)
2 grams of dried oregano
20 to 30 centiliters of red wine
9 lasagna sheets
Cheese according to taste

How to make it?
Cut all the vegetables and preheat the oven to 135 degrees Celsius. Get a baking pan and a stewing pan and put them on the heat. Sprinkle some oil in both pans and start baking the onion, garlic, carrot, and leek in the baking pan. When these vegetables have a nice brown (caramelized) color then you can place them in the stewing pan. Put some new oil in the baking pan and add the beef, let it turn to a nice brown color while you stir every once in a while. Add the tomato puree and bake it along for a couple of minutes while stirring, then put the beef into the stewing pan and clean the pan with the wine. Put the tomatoes, pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes into the stewing pan and let it bake for a couple of minutes. Then add the cube of stock and the oregano. Let the mixture get warm, give it a swirl and place the pan with the lid on in the oven. Let this stew for at least 2 hours to get a nice ripe taste in the dish.

Grease the oven dish and get the stewing pan out of the oven. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Start building the lasagna, start with a layer of mixture, then add a layer of lasagna sheets and repeat until you run out of the mixture. End with a layer of mixture and add some cheese on top. Place the oven dish in the oven, after 40 minutes of baking the lasagna will be done. Enjoy!
