Two weeks ago, we posted a coleslaw recipe and mentioned that it tastes good on sandwiches. Today’s article will be one example of how coleslaw can be great on sandwiches or buns. A croquette is a Dutch snack. It’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Traditionally, croquettes are made of a salpicon made from beef. We made a combination of croquette with coleslaw and sauce. This sandwich can be made with meat as well as a vegetarian, or even a vegan croquette, whichever you prefer.
2 buns, this time we used Italian buns
2 croquettes (you can choose whether you’ll use vegetarian or meat croquettes)
Sweet chili sauce
Coleslaw (buy this in the store or make your own with our recipe link)
How to make it?
Bake the croquettes in the air fryer, frying pan, or oven. Bake the buns in the oven. Add the coleslaw and yogurt mayonnaise to the bun, add the croquette on top, and add some sweet chili on top. Enjoy!
By choosing the right bun, croquette, and add-on, you can make a vegetarian or vegan version of this dish if you want.
