Ingredients
250 grams of self-raising flour (1 cup + 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
250 grams of butter (at room temperature, 1 cup + 2 tbsp)
5 eggs (+/-250 grams)
234 grams of sugar (1 cup + 1 tbsp)
16 grams of vanilla sugar (1 tbsp + 1 tsp)
How to make it?
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (320 F).
- In a bowl, mix butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until well mixed.
- Add eggs one by one, ensuring each is fully absorbed before adding the next.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until a smooth batter forms.
- Grease the bundt pan thoroughly with butter and flour.
- Pour the batter into the pan and place it in the oven. Bake for 60 minutes.
- Check for doneness with a spike; it should come out dry. If moist, bake a bit longer.
- Allow the cake to cool and then: enjoy your bundt cake! Tip: sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top before serving the cake.
