Basic Bundt Cake Recipe

As the seasons change, we love baking bundt cakes. This basic yet delightful recipe is a go-to for various occasions. What makes it even more special is its versatility—spice it up with different ingredients like chocolate, spices, or fruits. This quick 10-minute prep and 60-minute bake time makes a perfect bundt cake. Happy baking!

Ingredients

250 grams of self-raising flour (1 cup + 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
250 grams of butter (at room temperature, 1 cup + 2 tbsp)
5 eggs (+/-250 grams)
234 grams of sugar (1 cup + 1 tbsp)
16 grams of vanilla sugar (1 tbsp + 1 tsp)

How to make it?
  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (320 F).
  2. In a bowl, mix butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until well mixed.
  3. Add eggs one by one, ensuring each is fully absorbed before adding the next.
  4. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a smooth batter forms.
  5. Grease the bundt pan thoroughly with butter and flour.
  6. Pour the batter into the pan and place it in the oven. Bake for 60 minutes.
  7. Check for doneness with a spike; it should come out dry. If moist, bake a bit longer.
  8. Allow the cake to cool and then: enjoy your bundt cake! Tip: sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top before serving the cake.
