The easiest way to eat hamburgers at home is by buying a ready-made hamburger in the supermarket or at the butcher. However it’s actually very easy to make your own hamburger and you can flavor the meat the way you like it! Today we will share our base hamburger recipe with you and we will give you a couple of tips for variation.
500 grams of minced meat
100 grams of bread crumbs
2 teaspoons of meat spices
2 teaspoons of bruschetta herbs
1 teaspoon of paprika powder
1 teaspoon of cumin powder
How to make it?
Mix all the ingredients together until all the ingredients are absorbed into the meat. Then make 6 to 8 round hamburgers, you can put them in the fridge or freezer for some time. When you want to eat the hamburgers you bake them on each side for a few minutes on middle to high heat.
Tips and Variables
– We tend to place the hamburgers on a piece of bread with some toppings, like onion, avocado, tomato, cucumber, etc. This time we used an Italian bun with some paprika, leek and onion and a sate sauce.
– The type of sauces that you use also makes a big difference in the taste of the burger, some ideas for sauces are sate sauce, barbecue sauce, yogurt sauce. Which sauce is best for your burger depends on the toppings and whether you want a fresh or rich flavor for example.
– You can add different kinds of spices and herbs to give the hamburger another flavor, if you like the burger spicy you can add cayenne powder for example.
– When you shape your burgers, make sure to knead them well, that way you can more easily give them a new shape. When you’re done shaping/forming your burgers, give them time to rest, preferably somewhere cold like a in the fridge.
