Recipe: Chocolate sauce

Chocolate sauce is a great addition to a dessert, or a snack, for example, chocolate brownies or crepes. On the photo we used the sauce on Dutch pancakes. This recipe is easy to make, it doesn’t take much time, and it tastes great!

⏲ 5 minutes
🍽 a small can of sauce

Ingredients
100 grams of dark chocolate
100 grams of cream

How to make it?
Add the chocolate and the cream to a pan and set the heat source low. When melting the chocolate, you’ll want to be careful not to burn the chocolate. Take the pan off the heat in between to prevent heating, and keep stirring. You can place the pan back if the chocolate is not fully melted yet. When the chocolate and cream are thoroughly mixed into one smooth sauce, it’s done. Enjoy!

Dark chocolate turns bitter when you heat it beyond 49 degrees Celsius, it won’t burn as fast as the composition may change in the mix, but it’s important not to heat this mix too far.

Add this sauce to ice cream or these chocolate pancakes for example.
